Three members of the Mossos d’Esquadra, regional Catalan police, have been arrested for drug trafficking. Another 13 people have also been detained accused of drug trafficking and illicit association.
Reporting restrictions have been placed on the case, but it is known that the arrests of the Mossos was made by their own companions in the force, and that three kilos of cocaine were recovered along with quantities of hashish and marihuana. 500,000 € cash was also found, along with jewellery and seven firearms.
The police have been provisionally suspended."
