The 13-year-old allegedly refused to do an exam, confronted the teacher and attacked as well as insulting another classmate on the first day of term at the Abdera School in Almeria. The pupil went on to confront a male teacher and also her father when he arrived at the school.
According to the authorities, the student was expelled from her previous school for the same reason and had undergone an anger management programme during the summer months with her family.
The teacher has said she will not bring a formal complaint against the student."
