Valencia Group to Sue Spain Over Solar Subsidy Cuts, Efe Says - Bloomberg: "Valencian Association of Energy Companies will sue the Spanish government after it cut the subsidies for existing photovoltaic plants, Efe reported.
The government’s decision to cap the number of hours per year that solar generators can claim above-market rates will affect as many as 90 percent of the 260 plants operating in the eastern region of Valencia, Efe said citing association president Jose Antonio Soler who spoke at a press conference accompanied by the region’s top power official, Antonio Cejalvo.
Soler plans to meet with leaders of business groups from other parts of Spain next week to discuss filing a joint suit, Efe said."
