Property scam pair hunted by Interpol | The Sun |Home Scotland|Scottish News: "Nigel Andrews and wife Margaret are accused of duping 20 clients into forking out £863,000 for apartments at a Turkish resort that were never built.
The pair, formerly of Kingswells, Aberdeen, vanished from their offices in Marbella, Spain, in June.
They are now understood to be hiding in Portugal. One victim, ex-pilot Tony May, claims he paid Mr Andrews £58,000.
He said: 'They can't move - if they go to an airport they will be arrested.'
Spanish police confirmed Interpol are involved following an arrest in Alicante.
It is understood the man being questioned is Mr Andrews' brother, Lionel.
Both brothers left for Spain in 2003 when an Aberdeen nightclub they ran shut after five months, owing £700,000.
Police say the alleged scam victims are from Ukraine, Ireland, Luxembourg and Britain."
