Junta de Andalucía asks for state help to save Costa del Sol hotels: "During 2010 several emblematic hotels on the Costa del Sol closed, including the luxury Byblos in Mijas Costa, and Las Dunas in Estepona. Los Monteros in Marbella has been able to re-open on a judicial order, after being closed for 15 months, but the new owner is looking for finance for modernisation of the facilities.
The Incosol and Guadalpin Hotels in Marbella, and the Torrequebrada in Benalmádena are trading, but are under bankruptcy protection."
