Peter Caruana postpones 3 way talks on Gibraltar: "Gibraltar First Minister, Peter Caruana, has notched up the tension between Spain and The Rock by issuing a statement Thursday to local media saying that he suspended technical meetings which should have taken place in Algeciras this week and later in Madird, of the three-way forum in which Gibraltar has been participating with the U.K. and Spain.
Caruana has taken the decision after a spate of incidents between the Gibraltar Police and the Spanish Guardia Civil in the waters around the Rock, the last one of which was on September 28, and says he will explain exactly why he has done so to the GBC television audience tonight, Thursday at 2030."
