The company let customers pre-order up to £10,000-worth of foreign cash at a set price up to a year in advance.
Its collapse has left up to 13,000 punters out of pocket.
A source told Sun City that BARCLAYS blocked their bank account on Friday after being told Crown was 'insolvent'.
The bank was worried customer money was still being paid into the business. Yesterday Paul Clark, of the administrators MCR, said: 'We fully appreciate the difficult position in which many will now find themselves in.
'However, the administration process is in its early days and we cannot guarantee an early resolution for those looking for a quick return of their money.'"
