National Police has arrested nine members of an organized crime group operating in Malaga and Alicante. The suspects, of four different nationalities (Moroccan, Romanian, Moldavian and Spanish) all aged between 20 and 39 are thought to be responsible for an armed robbery in a Jewllers in Malaga and four violent robberies in Alicante, three in private homes and one a local business.
Investigations began in October 2009 and culminated with the arrest of the nine men in Elche, Crevillente and Los Montesinos. The suspects where found to be in possession of some of the stolen goods as well as tools and devices used to commit the crimes.
