One of the accused was the head of the Parks and Gardens Department. All three are believed to have pretended to carry out work and services for the town hall and received public funds for doing nothing.
The town hall paid them up to 147,306 euros. They are facing six years each in prison and a fine of 21,600 euros for the head of the department and 10,800 euros each for the others.
