Police swooped the OpenCor supermarket in Puerto Banus two days after the armed robbery took place.
Expats Matthew Daly and Daniel Rushton, both 25, were queuing for credit on their mobile phones when a stunned member of staff recognised the duo and called the police.
Armed officers plunged into action and arrested the pair, suspecting them to be the thieves in question."
