Euro Weekly News Businessman kidnapped in Macael: "GUARDIA CIVIL are searching for the location where a local businessman is being held captive. The man, who has a business in the marble sector, was kidnapped on April 11 due to his son owing money for drugs. He was accosted by several people on the Rubira Sola industrial estate in Macael and bundled into the boot of a car which sped off. When he failed to return home, his family notified the Guardia Civil who are searching the area, especially isolated and abandoned houses, but so far, there has been no news.
The kidnappers are known to have contacted the family and demanded a large sum of money for his safe release."
