Málaga City Hall has passed a new by-law which will be introduced before the end of the month, which will see people who have sex in the street being fined 1,500 € if they do so in a place which is less than 200m from a residential area, school, or areas where commercial or business activity is carried out.

Málaga City Hall is copying Granada which has already introduced similar legislation. There prostitution has been eradicated from the city centre.
