British drug dealer, nicknamed ‘Catman’; one of the country’s most wanted men, David Anthony Stuart, has become the latest success for the Crimestoppers/Captura joint campaign between British and Spanish police.
The 35 year old was arrested on an European warrant on Tuesday in Barcelona.
The Crimestoppers website said that they thought he had been using the name of John and many aliases and was thought to be working here as a funeral director.
He was arrested in Accrington in July 2004 with 20,000 ecstasy tablets and subsequently failed to attend his trial at Preston Crown Court in June 2005. He was charged with conspiracy to supply a class A drug, and possession with intent to supply a class A drug.
