Junta de Andalucía drawing up new decree on illegally built property: "The Public Works Department of the Junta de Andalucía is, according to El País preparing a specific guideline to be applied in the cases of the dozens of thousands of homes built illegally in the region without permission and generally on rural land.
Currently the owners of such properties find themselves given a wide range of answers from administrative and judicial bodies, quite often contradictory.
The new text is being drawn up to establish homogenous precepts to follow and the requirements to bring these properties into legality, but it will not modify the law as such, which must continue to be applied."
