José Franco de la Cruz, known as ‘el Boca’ has been issued a search and arrest order by the Provincial Court in Huelva, the place of his parents residence, just six days after serving 21 years in prison.

The known rapist and killer of 9 year old Ana María Jerez Cano in 1991 has served 21 years in prison and when released last Tuesday from the prison at Morón de la Frontera in Sevilla, said at the prison gates he had spent that time inside ‘without reason’.

He should have given the address of a place of residence to the authorities when he left prison, but failed to do so.

The Huelva Court has opened an investigation into his current assets, as it is thought that while in prison he could have inherited the property where his parent live. The court wants to know if he able to face the compensation payment of 90,000 € still owed to the victim’s family. He declared himself insolvent on the day of his sentencing.
