Spanish Civil Guard have arrested six members of an organized crime group including one Bulgarian.The group was planning to kidnap two businessman from the Costa del Sol district. It consists of four Spaniards, one Bulgarian, and one Swede.The Bulgarian man has initials V.P. and lives near Malaga. The police had followed the gang since November 2009 when some of its members were involved in another kidnapping hit

 six people in Marbella, Mijas and Benalmadena believed to have been planning an express kidnappings of two people on the Costa del Sol.The operation, codenamed Golub, began last year when officers were tipped off to the gang’s plans and were able to locate all the members before they went ahead. Six premises were search and officers seized handcuffs, gloves, balaclavas, latex masks, duct tape, three guns, a stun gun, registration plates, tracking devices, photocopies of 500 euro notes and a hired van with no windows. A place to keep the victims was also found.The detainees are aged between 26 and 54, and are Spanish, Swedish and Bulgarian. Five of them have been sent to prison on remand
