San Pedro underpass construction company has not been paid by the Ministry for Development

The construction company building the San Pedro underpass has put down tools, claiming they have not been paid by the Ministry for Development. The company has fenced off the site while the conflict continues, and laid off more than 200 workers. There are now only 11 left linked to the job.

The underpass is due to open in six months time.
