The Provincial Police Station reports that 58 year old T.W. who is British, is wanted in the UK, and an European Arrest Warrant had been issued against him for drug trafficking.
‘The matters he is linked to refer to his participation in the supply of important amounts of hashish, cocaine, ecstasy and MDMA to Glasgow in the year 2,000’.
The other arrested man, A.J.S. is aged 78 and also has a drug trafficking past. He has been implicated in the trafficking of drugs hidden in cans of preserves.
The arrests were carried out last Monday when the police observed an alleged transaction between the two men. A search of A.J.S. found him to be carrying a piece of hashish, and police found more hidden in his car.
