Four bodies have been found in Marbella and Estepona.

Police are investigating the deaths of a youth, a man who had been burned, a third found in an abandoned building, and a fourth who died from a blow to the head.

Four deaths in suspicious circumstances in four days is not normal, and over the past month there has been as many as eight. The Homicide Department of the National Police is investigating.

The first was of a young man who had been stabbed and whose body was found in Cabopino, the second burnt body, of a man in his 50’s, was found next to an electricity transformer in Avenida Carlos 1 in Estepona, the body of a man thought to be a tramp was found in the partially constructed building near to the Costa del Sol Hospital, and last Saturday the personnel of a well known Marbella hotel found a body in the car park. He had suffered a blow to the head.

The police say the Cabopino case is obviously a crime, and they are now looking for two men in connection with the death of the 26 year from Ecuador, whose body was found in the early hours of Tuesday after being stabbed.

The Estepona transformer death was first thought to have been accidental, but the power company confirmed not only was the transformer not working, but also it had been switched off some time ago after a robbery. It’s thought that the man may have set fire to himself at the site.
