 Malaga, the police have broken up numerous groups of former soldiers from Eastern Europe, most of them Albanian-Kosovar, who were specialising in burglaries from private homes and industrial units in different parts of the province. These bands are characterised by their hierarchy, their organisation and their intensive planning of operations, as well as, in some cases, their violence. The police have also identified and broken up very active groups which are made up of Spanish nationals.
