Two seriously hurt in helicopter crash on La Palma: "Two people were seriously hurt on Thursday when their helicopter crashed to land as they were flying over La Caldera de Taburiente National Park
on the island of La Palma.The accident happened shortly after takeoff in the area known as Dos Aguas, while the aircraft was still flying at a low altitude.
The crew were transporting building materials for a company which is carrying out improvements to one of the walking routes within the National Park.
It’s understood that one of the men is critically ill.
There has been no news as yet on why the aircraft crashed."
